Today it was hot in Sydney, and today we are having the annual Christmas fair in our neighbourhood. They shut the street off and had stalls running up and down on each side. 

It’s always busy with children following Santa around and kids and their parents go for rides on a mini fire truck. 

As usual I’m getting around with my mobility scooter trying not to bump into people or run into the many little dogs that owners have on their leads. 

But what I noticed was that there were heaps of people looking but not many people buying.

Well, that is until I got to the hat stand. He was going great guns. Oh why not! It’s about time I bought another hat. 

Love the green that will go with so much and the wider brim is perfect for summer.
