This site all came about when my doctor asked how I managed to get around when travelling. You see I am on a 4 wheel walker I call ‘trolley’ and a portable mobility scooter I call ‘scooter’.
Life throws curveballs sometimes. I was just your regular person working a 9 to 5. I got MS and eventually ended up here, reliant on others to get me around. That’s why walking sticks and scooters and walkers are such an asset. They are so liberating. Yes there are always people in the background but these tools give you that little bit of independence. I scoot around to my hearts content. I’ll walk on my ‘trolley’ and discover service lifts and strange and unusual ways to get to a venue.
Can’t get around like you used to? Don’t let that stand in the way of adventure. Join me as I come to grips with getting around when you’re far less mobile. I’ll share personal stories, observations, and adventures.

I’m Dezzie, welcome to my site.
