I’ve mentioned this app in passing a few times. It’s great. It’s created by the Department of Health and Aged Care.

Go to the App Store and type in National toilet map. A few will come up but this one is the one you need to select.

After you download the app from the App Store you can modify it to suit your preferences. So here I have selected disabled toilets.

So this screenshot is showing disabled public toilets in the main part of Sydney. You can zoom in on the map with your fingers so you have the street names.

This app doesn’t cover all places with toilets. If you get stuck and don’t know where to go look for a pub or shopping centre as they generally have disabled toilets there as well.

When it’s hard to get around at the best of times, knowing where an accessible toilet is makes life just that much easier.
