Mudgee oh how this big country town ticks all the boxes. Brilliant wineries surround this town. The streets are wide and beautifully maintained. It’s spring so the flowers are in bloom. 

I’ve never been to the main town. I do regret it as there are some seriously funky wine bars and restaurants. 

We are here for 3 nights, visiting the vineyards and checking out local cuisine. The van park is nicely appointed and next to the river. There’s a sculpture park and gallery.

It’s not all about going out. We hung around the caravan park a bit and just chilled out. It was a lot of fun.
